Here is a 51+ year old 1970s VW "Volks-Dragon" mid engine Volkswagon Bug drag racing car No. 31 by Matchbox/Lesney from WAY BACK in 1971! This one is over the top cool and very hard to find! This is the COOL cars from the 1970s at its finest! Mid Engine V8 VW Bug with a blower air scoop on the ROOF! Awesome! I believe this is from the "Superfast" era of the 1970s. It has survived quite well compared to most that you see! (most of the Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars we had in the early 1980s were beat and missing paint 40+ years ago!) To find cars this nice is a real treat. None of them have seen the light of day in decades! I hope you enjoy. This car is one of a bunch that I got from the original owner! He was an "Only Child" with no siblings born in 1968. His parents both had great jobs so this young man got lots of cool things at an early age! He had a lot of cool old Hot Wheels Cars from this era and did not play with most of them. Consequently, the ones I am listing are in nice unrestored original condition!
