1971 Gibson ES-335TD – Walnut, all original with matching case

Description: 1971 Gibson ES-335TD – Walnut, all original with matching case One owner guitar. All original but there are flaws that we will do our best to represent, pricing reflects these issues. The most noticeable issue is from water damage on the lower bout where a flooded basement wetted that part of the guitar and case. You can clearly see the discoloration around the treble tone knob, bottom of the bout and on the backside. It is cosmetic and does not effect functionality. It did have a drop at some point that caused a crack in the upper neck, not the typical headstock break but running along the grain. In the iPhone photos you'll see the dark spots where the neck was repaired. Other than the darker markings it was fixed perfectly and you'd never know it had any damage. The guitar plays and sounds amazing as expected and has been setup and restrung, ready to be played. It includes the original case but is one of the glorified tolex covered cardboard cases, and is in ok condition.
