Description: Handsome fold-out 1971 Chevron Oil road map of Idaho, printed more than 52 years ago. The map opens to 27" x 18" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha. On the reverse side there are color photos of some of the state's scenic attractions, including Stanley Lake, Craters of the Moon Nationial Monument, Mesa Falls, Salmon River Canyon, Lake Pend Oreille, and the Bitterroot Range. The map was distributed by Chevron in 1971 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 9-SS. The front cover shows a Chevron gas pump labeled "F-310" — the company's trademark for its polybutene amine gasoline additive. Condition: This map is in very good, lightly used condition, with no marks or writing. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions. Buy with confidence!
