When the rebuild/restoration process is complete, the hinges have a high quality finish and a smooth, tight operation - equal to or better than a new OEM part. All holes are reamed to accommodate custom machined, over-sized pins made from the correct material, then each piece is sprayed with self etch primer. During assembly, each pin and pivot point is lubricated with lithium grease. Finally, they are finished with Eastwood zinc phosphate.
