This engine is in very good condition.It has been air tested (video) and should not give much trouble to operate on steam.It needs a thorough cleaning. For the boiler calcium residue, I recommend water with vinegar and CLR. It works well.The external white residue is polish remnant and is easy to clean. This engine is complete and all original, including the original box that is in very poor condition.The whistle seems to blow continuously and probably needs resetting. You will need some solid fuel pellets (anywhere camping supplies are sold) and distilled water is strongly recommended (to avoid the calcium residue).
