This set of bogie beams began as two 3,600 pound forgings of high strength steel, and have been machined down to 600 pounds each. Menasco's $90 million plus contract with Lockheed calls for delivery of 350 ship sets of main and nose landing gear for the new Lockheed jetliner beginning late this year.Photo measures 8 x 10inches.
