1968 ROGERS vintage DRUMS 9x13 silver sparkle tom drum shell

Description: Yee haw !! You are looking at a used vintage ROGERS DRUMS 9x13 tom tom drum shell. It has a Dayton Rogers label number #110440. Dates to 1968 or 1969.It is an incomplete parts shell. No parts remain except the script Rogers chrome badge, silver sparkle wrap, paper label and grommet. The color is splotchy, tired, faded, cracked and ugly. Perfect for a rewrap, with no guilt felt. There are cracks, scratches and scuffs in the wrap with fade problems. It has speckled grey paint inside which is still clean.The inside of the shell has a crack to the lower reinforcement ring.Easy fix, or leave as is, it shouldn't affect the soundI do not think it will affect the sound of the drum. The top bearing edge is still nice, no bad dings. The bottom bearing edge has a few small dings, no big dings. The bearing edges have a small ding or two, so I'm going to mention it. This is a five ply shell. The size is 9x13. That is a 13 inch head, 9 inch deep shell. It has reinforcement rings. It needs two six hole 13 inch rims. This is a six lug drum shell, per side. It needs twelve lugs total. It needs beavertail lugs, not B&B bread and butter lugs. Tom mount hole pattern would be a typical swivo-matic perpendicular plate. . Year is about 1968 or 1969. Please remember, parts are missing, it's just a shell with script bade, paper label and grommet. The script badge remains, and has not been off the drum. The three tone control holes are original and in good shape. This drum shell will be a good project, for a player.Photos show the flaws, and are part of the description. You will see it has wrap problems with scrapes and scuffs. The seam is not lifting. The drum is ready to go, and you can further do what you want to it. This is a project, but might be a nice sounding addition to someone's player's kit. This shell itself weighs 3 pounds and 5.8 ounces.
