Description: Selling this 1960s vintage wristwatch. Brand: UNIVERSAL GENEVEModel: RR 1205 "Railrouter" Scarce "railroad approved" watch issued for Canadian Railroad conductors working at Canadian Pacific Railways (CPR) and Canadian National Railways (CNR). Runs good, just serviced in 2024. Crown is generic, not original (no "U" logo) and sweep second not original (very similar but should be orange) ______________________________________Technical details: Universal Geneve Swiss made movement, caliber 1205, 19 jewels, manual wind, hack feature (Seconds STOP). Case reference 565 100; serial 3225688 (circa 1967). Gorgeous 24h railroad dial, 100% original & untouched, good condition as shown, some "siper web" on the varnish (hard to see in pictures). Gold plated case (20 microns), disinfected, but not buffed, some small scratches and minor wear on edges. Stainless steel screwback, no personal markings. The acrylic crystal has been buffed during service. A couple small deeper scratcehs remain but very acceptable. Crown is a generic replacement (NO LOGO). Case measures 35 mm wide without crown, 44 mm tall, 10 mm thick. Brand new 19mm leather band.
