Description: This week I'm offering a variety of cards from non-sport sets of the Fifties and Sixties. Monster and horror movies were big during that period, and various companies issued sets picturing monsters. These sets have remained immensely popular with collectors. Topps issued a set of 66 cards in 1966, reclycling material from their 1963 "Monster Midgees" set. The cards showcased photos taken from some of the cheezier "B" movies of the era, each one given the humorous caption treatment. A silly joke on the back rounded off the presentation, and the set was a huge hit with eight-year-olds of all ages. This is card #47 from the set. It's in very nice shape with no creases or stains (see scans for condition). All in all, an attractive example of a Sixties phenomenon. This would be a terrific addition to any collection!
