Description: 1966 NMM Roosevelt Dime ERROR Coin I would say the condition is fair-good given the age of the coin - 57 years is a long time to be passed around from person to person, thrown in an undisclosed number of cash trays, placed on numerous dressers or deposited into various telephone booths (Right! - remember those?) But in truth, this coin is well worn around the rim, but still has some of the fine detailing on the torch found on the reverse side of the coin. The obverse shows some of the fine detailing on Roosevelt's face; hair, ear, nose, etc. as well. Anyway, the coin has held it's own pretty well. Let's talk errors: This is a no mint mark coin and shows signs of a doubled die on both the obverse and reverse sides Again, this coin has promise. It's not a throw away, or one to be tucked away somewhere in a closet and forgotten. This coin is ready to strut it's stuff in a collection Keep in mind, this is a rare 1966 NMM Roosevelt Dime. No, it doesn't boast a high mint grade, or have that WOW, sexy appeal but the scarcity of this coin alone makes it pretty impressive I believe the price tag truly speaks for itself. But if you have a different opinion on the coin, let me know - I'd love to hear it. Otherwise, make me an offer!
