Description: This is a very cool & wonderful all original very early production 1966 Martin D12-20 12 string thats got it all going on. It’s an early example w/factory tortoise’gard & body bindings as most were made w/black’gards & body trim. This has a lovely spruce top w/some sensational figured mahogany back & sides that look a bit like rosewood. Its neck set is perfect & came from its last owner whom is a 50+ year Martin factory warranty repair facility. Its factory small Kluson tuners work well. It’s 1 of the best we’ve had & certainly will enhance any great Martin collection & its next caretaker will enjoy the hell out of it as it needs nothing but a 12 string fan that luv Martins. It’s truly exceptional & comes in its original black tolex/blue lined hard case.
