Description: Selling this American Character 9.5 inches Cricket doll. She competed with Skipper and was made between 1965 and 1967 as a little sister for Tressy (11.5 inch doll from 1964 and a Barbie competitor) who also came with a “grow hair” feature. She comes with her original dress, which is untagged, and a two-piece green and purple vest with skirt outfit which is clearly homemade, cute but not very well done. Cricket is not an easy to find doll and hard to in this good condition. Lovely addition to any doll collector. Please look carefully at the photos which are the best way to see what you are buying. I always try to be very accurate in my listings describing as much as possible the condition of my items, but still, the majority of what I sell is vintage; items that have been previously owned and in varying degrees of usage or display, and very probably show some wear and tear.
