Description: 1965 1966 Corvette Original Big Block 396 427 Fiberglass Hood Almost NOS Up for your consideration is an original 65-66 Corvette BB hood. Comes a pictured with nice hood grilles. This hood was purchased over the counter and only used for a short time. The underside was never painted, and it still has the GM parts sticker. It has two small stress cracks by the male latch reinforcements (see last two pictures). Because these cracks do not go through to the skin, I think these stress cracks were there from when the inner structure was pried from the mold and before it was glued to the skin. Two of the pop rivets are also missing from one male hood latch reinforcing plates. These rivets can easily be installed.
