Description: 1964-D Kennedy Half Dollar Error - 90% Silver (18a) 6/15/24: Checked with a coin microscope. Best viewed under a lens or scope. This is a rare vintage old coin. The 1964 was 90% Silver and 10% Copper. The 1965 to 1970 coins weigh 11.5g, and are 40% Silver and 60% Copper, per coin (according to Yeoman's Red Book). , but nothing after 1970. The one exception was the 1976 Bi-Centennial Half, which was also a 40%Silver coin. Yes, we will be offering some shortly... We have a pile of Kennedy's... The grades will vary.
