Description: Handsome fold-out 1964 Chevron road map of Colorado, printed more than 56 years ago. The map opens to 18" x 27" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha. There are inset plans of Denver, Pueblo, Mesa Verde and Rocky Mountain National Parks, and the Colorado Springs-Pikes Peak region. The map was distributed by the Western Division of the California Oil Company in 1964 to promote its Chevron gasoline and RPM motor oil. It is dated in the legend, and the code number in the lower margin is 9-LL. The front cover artwork features a scenic view of the Colorado Rockies. Condition: This map is in very good, lightly used condition. The paper has a slight pucker. There are no marks, rips, or tears. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions.
