Lot Consists of a Scarce, Unissued / Unused, Original 1964 /1965 New York World's Fair Welcome Proclamation From The Officers of The Fair Corporation, Exhibitors and Participants - For Appearance at The New York World's Fair. The 1964 / 1965 Certificate States: "New York World's Fair 1964 - 1965 Corporation - Proclaims ----- To Be ----- And Extends a Most Cordial Welcome on Behalf of the Officers of The Fair Corporation, Our Exhibitors and Participants". The Certificate has The Signature of Robert Moses President of The Fair Corporation, Printed in The Image in Blue on Bottom. Proclamation has ©1964 New York World's Fair 1964-1965 Corporation on Bottom Left Edge, along with a Union Logo in the right corner. The Certificate / Proclamation is Approx. 9-7/8" Wide x 13-15/16" High, printed on thin card stock and has nice gold colored, embossed images of The Front and Rear of The 1964/65 NYWF Medallion Logo, with the City of New York seal on one side and the Unisphere the other. Proclamation comes in Unissued / Unused condition has only light signs of handling from years of flat storage. It Has Some Light Toning on outer edges and has been stored away from light since being printed 58 years ago. See Pics For More Details on Items and Condition.
