Description: Handsome fold-out 1963 Apco road map of Missouri, printed more than 60 years ago. This map opens to 18" x 29" and has great detail on old highway alignments, including U.S. Route 66, with cartography by Rand McNally. Work on the construction of Interstate 55 had not yet started when this map was printed. There are inset plans of Columbia, Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City, St. Joseph, Springfield, Kansas City, Poplar Bluff, Cape Girardeau, and St. Louis. The map was distributed by the Apco Oil Corporation of Oklahoma City in 1963 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 3-5637-15. Condition: This map is in excellent condition, bright and clean, with no rips, tears, or writing. There's a neat rubber-stamp imprint on the rear cover from an Apco gas station in South Hutchinson, Kansas. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions. Buy with confidence!
