BELLEVUE,Md.,Feb.14 -- SIMILAR SURROUNDINGS -- The background of the picture (left) of Francis Gary Powers on his return from Russia is similar to that of the photo (right) taken 12 years ago by former owner of a brick mansion near Bellevue on Maryland's Eastern Shore.The photo of Powers was released by the White House Sunday after the U2 pilot was whisked from a plane and re-united with his family at a hideaway near Washington.The mansion,now owned by the government,is located about 100 miles from the Capitol.The drapes shown in the pictures above are similar in design.The hinges on the doors are the same kind and each door has a "peep hole" between the top two panels.
