Everett Knowles, Jr.,12, has wound where his right arm was grafted back to his body inspected by Dr. Ronald A. Malt at Massachusetts General Hospital. The Somerville, Massachusetts schoolboy had arm cut off by a train May 23. A team of surgeons restored arm to body minutes afterwards in an operation that made medical history. Skin graft and stitches can be seen on upper right arm. Everett was discharged from hospital today but will undergo further treatment later.Photo measures 8 x 10.25inches. Photo is dated 06-13-1962.
