Description: 1962 10C US Roosevelt Dime The Roosevelt dime is a United States coin that was first minted in 1946 to honor President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who passed away in 1945. It features a portrait of Roosevelt on the obverse side and a torch, olive branch, and oak branch on the reverse side. The dime is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper, although in 1965 the composition was changed to a combination of copper and nickel due to the rising cost of silver.
