John Robertson, houseparent at Magnolia school, gives 10 year old David a push on the bicycle which the child spent two and a half months learning to conquer. One Day Mr. and Mrs. Robertson were childless. The next day they were the "parents" of 18 boys ranging in age from 4 to 11. John and Kathy Robertson, who came to New Orleans from Scotland only seven months ago, are houseparents employed at the Magnolia School for Retarded Children on the River Road at Central Avenue.
