Description: For sale by the original owner. This was the seller's favorite indoor toy as a child and was carefully and lovingly cared for. The brand is Happi-Time, which was the name of the toy line sold by Sears. There is no indication on the box or the instructions of who the manufacturer was, but it could have been Marx. This playset was made to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Civil War. All of the pieces have been securely kept in baggies for decades and no individual pieces are missing as far as the seller can determine. One mortar and the four cannon would fire, and they all still do except for one cannon, and the cannon and mortar shells they fire are still included. One cannon caisson is missing. The set includes Union and Confederate soldiers and officers, horses (one dead), wounded soldiers, trees (living and dead), tree stumps, cannon and mortars, a tent area with a multitude of accessories, a bridge, a destroyed house, a cannon emplacement, an exploding bunker (which is rusted and will not explode anymore), various other battlefield features and items, a plantation house, Union and Confederate flags and flagpoles, and figures of Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses Grant, Jefferson Davis, and Robert E. Lee. The instructions show a small cap pistol which the seller does not remember and is not included. The original box and the original instructions are included.
