Scene Description: Captain Cook's Endeavour put to sea gain but this time the Endeavour put out from a sandy beach on Australia's Narrabeen Lake, rounded Sydney model Wendy Penton, of Crows Nest, and headed back to shore. The latest Endeavour is a 6ft long, 6ft high scale model of the original vessel. It was built by brothers Bruce and Rod Usher, of Crows Nest. Bruce and Rod were commissioned by the Museum nearly 2 years ago to build a replica of Captain Cook's craft. The vessel was such a success, and so impressive, that the brothers decided to build one for themselves. It was the second Endeavour which set sail on the Narrabeen Lake. Wendy made full use of the model's trial run for some added fun while taking a dip.
