The scan with the megaphone pointed upward toward YOUR LEFT shows the line cut as it will look when you pull it out of the package. The other scan (with the megaphone pointed upward toward YOUR RIGHT) is "flipped" or reversed and shows - basically - what the printed image will look like (only the image will be smaller as this scan is zoomed up larger than actual size). I have LOTS more vintage printer's line cuts for sale on ebay. Click on my store link above and then on the left side of the newly opened page click on "Printing" under the categories listing - it should be very near the top of the categories list. This was a very ubiquitous advertising motif back in the old letterpress / hot type days. In those old letterpress days, this cut design would typically have been used for making announcements that nowadays seem to call for ALL CAPS and lots!!!!!!!! of ebay's beloved exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Use dimensions given in the first paragraph above to judge size. Ebay's new rules about pictures may well mean the scans shown here are larger than the actual size of the cut. Great for a hobbyist printer or boutique letterpress print shop that specializes in old-timey, retro or mid-century motifs in their work. a bit of old letterpress print shop patina but VERY GOOD _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ (the fine print ...
