1960-62 Marca Stella Small Portrait w/Mark Pele BVG 6

Description: DESCRIPTION: The PSA Population Report is an absolute clusterf*ck when it comes to Marca Stella Small Portrait Pele cards. PSA has changed it's mind yet again on Marca Stella cards and now considers ALL small portrait cards to be 1960 issue which I think is wrong. This also means nearly all older Marca Stella Small Portrait Pele's are mislabeled. I will try to explain. What you see here is a 1962 Marca Stella Pele graded BVG 6. PSA will now recognize the mark vs no mark on the label but considers them all 1960 issue. The 1960 Marca Stella Small Portrait Pele has NO PRINT MARK near pele's eye in the picture. The print mark was introduced in a later printing, presumably 1962. Some Italian collectors have gone as far as identifying the no print mark Pele as a 1960 Nannina issue rather than Marca Stella. They claim Marca Stella appropriated the image for their 1962 cards. I've been asked about shipping in the past so let me say this. I ship expensive cards with Registered Mail. This takes 10-14 days on average for delivery. It is by far the safest way to ship as the card is under lock and key the entire way to you, which is why it takes longer for delivery. Also, I do not make money on shippinig. I charge enough to make sure the the package is shipped and fully insured based on actual weight and value.
