Description: Letting go of some of my extremely rare collectables. This patina’ed can is from 1959 and is Frigidaire Ready-Spray Ice Tray Wax. It is a can of the coating originally on the aluminum ice trays. You sprayed it on and then baked the tray in the oven to restore the originally slippery surface. The can is nearly full however I have no idea if the propellant is still in it. I would not recommend finding out. The price is in accordance with its rarity. I have searched the internet for years looking for a similar can without ever locating another. Sold through the repair counters and sales floors of 1959. If you’ve recreated a 50s Frigidaire kitchen, or are a fan of the flair range, the rollermatic washer or just a collector looking for that something no one else will have, this may be for you.
