Vibrant blue Nice corners Nicely centered High number Vintage ‘59 Carroll had 31 plate appearances in his short career in baseball. In 1955, he was signed by the Yankees as a bonus baby. As such, he had his fist plate appearance in the majors at 18 years of age. The Yankees moved him to the Kansas City A’s after two years with the Yankees, and played in 14 games for them. By 1960, he was in the minors and on his way out of baseball.
