Description: Hall of Famer and member of the 500 Home Run club Ed Matthews cards from 1959-61. Matthews was a 12 time All Star and hit 512 homers in a 17 year career, all with the Braves, in both Milwaukee and Atlanta. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1978. This card has a obvious stain that starts at the top and travels down the left side of the card left of his name, into the portrait and then just to the Braves logo at the bottom. Maybe it can be professional cleaned, maybe not. I have no idea. There is a paper tear at the top right corner and again on the right edge just below the portrait. There are no creases or writing but the card seems a bit water logged in that it does not lie flat. The back has more paper damage at the bottom border.
