Description: Here is a heavy-duty wood and steel, 12-bottle milk crate from Driggs Dairy Farms. Driggs Dairy was founded in Palmyra, Michigan, but expanded into Toledo, where I believe this crate originated since I acquired it around there. It measures a little over 15" long, spans 12" in width and is 10" tall (not counting the stacking sleeves on top). This is very well constructed with metal banding on both the inside and outside corners, and having a three-tiered steel wired interior to hold the bottles in place. That being said this weighs nearly 12 pounds. Both ends of the crate are engraved with the company name and the production month and year, 5/1959. A great piece of dairy advertising.
