Description: First American edition, published by Harcourt, Brace & Co of New York in 1958. Lacking dust jacket, with wear to boards as the only wear issue to note. As seen, the spine is missing, but it could be rebacked professionally. The front and rear boards are solidly attached to the spine. They have moderate corner wear, light edge wear, light soiling. Interior very clean, no marks, no foxing, 40 BEAUTIFUL LITHOGRAPHS, many folding, printed by Mourlot. A single crease was found on a three panel litho (one folded panel). Listing photos show the full lithograph followed by a close-up of the crease on the right edge near the bottom. Slight age-toning seen around some of the lithographs.
