Gerholz (center), past President of the National Association of Home Builders and President of Gerholz Community Homes, Incorporated firm signs up some of the first of some 50 builders who will erect "care-free" homes featuring aluminum during 1957. The program is sponsored by Aluminum Company of America and is part of a long-range Alcoa program to enlist top builders, outstanding architects, and research facilities to develop better homes. Gerholz asserted that the program "lives and breathes progress for the home building industry" as he signed up in the presence of William H.
