Description: This listing is for a 1956 poster from the Israeli Ministry of Education and Culture that was used to promote Hebrew speaking in Israel. Pictured on the front is the Israeli poet Chaim Nachman Bialik and a quote of his from a letter he wrote to the author Yosef Chaim Brenner, "הלשון באה לברוא לב אחד לכל חלקי האומה", which in English means "The language comes to create one heart for all parts of the nation". At the bottom of the poster is the same quote in Yiddish and Spanish. Across the top of the poster it says in Hebrew "Ministry of Education and Culture - Depart of Language". On the top right hand side the Emblem of Israel is pictured with the 7-branch menorah and olive branches.
