The arrival in New York today of the new Argentine ambassador to the United States, Adolfo Vecchi and his family was marred by a minor shipboard mishap. The ambassador's son, Julio, slipped on the deck of the vessel and had to be taken by ambulance to Beekman Hospital for examination. Left photo shows Vecchi, his wife, and daughter, Maria Eugenia, at Beekman Hospital after they learned that examination revealed no serious injury to the boy. Right photo shows ambulance attendants removing Julio's stretcher from the ship for transportation to Beekman Hospital. Photo measures 9.25 x 7.25 inches. Photo is dated 12-03-1955.
