Description: WICHITA BAND INSTRUMENT COMPANY, since 1953! *** W.S. Haynes best model, 100% USA-made, flute, fully reconditioned and a superb player! William S. Haynes solid silver flute number 23,993 (1954). French (open finger-hole) keywork to low B, in-line G, soldered tone-holes, extended key arms over the pad cups. The instrument was constructed with .014 silver tube, soldered tone-holes. Sounding length is 636 mm (A=440), the embouchure measures 10.2 X 12.1, giving the instrument a wonderful tone color. Total weight is 421 grams. All pads and corks are new. The case is in very good condition. Still in production, retail price is now a bit over $12,500. Our flute is 100% made in America. Recommended for the adult amateur or a discriminating musician who appreciates the wonderful voice of a Golden Age Haynes.
