Description: The 1953 Chevy 3100 Pickup Truck at 1/40 scale by Welly measures about 4.75 inches long by about 1.75 inches wide by about 2 inches high. It has very nice details such as separate clear plastic headlights and taillights. The coloring is done is high gloss finish with accurate markings and branding. The wheels are free rolling and made of rubber. Moreover the back wheels have pull back action, which means that it will wind up when you pull it back and it will roll if you let it go. The rolling motion is very smooth so be mindful of where you display it (or chuck the wheels). The doors can open revealing nice interior details such as accurate seats, steering wheel, and instrument panel. This is not a toy. Recommended for 15 and up. The Chevrolet 3100 is a pickup model that came from the Chevrolet Advance Design Series of pickup trucks that spanned from 1947 to 1955, being eventually succeeded by the Chevrolet Task Force Series. The 3100 was also available in the Task Force Series, which mostly differed in visual styling and interior design, introducing the very first examples of wrap-around windshields, as well as an egg-create grille that replaced the Advanced Design's 5 bar horizontal grille. The Task Force Series ran from late 1955 (second series) through 1959.
