The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Vehicle Details Absolutely extraordinary top-notch retro-rod truck. This truck is a complete custom build top to bottom in 2020. Chassis is original frame in the rear mated to a ‘72 Nova front frame stub. All new suspension components were used in stock configuration. Rides great and drives down the road smooth. No harsh ride of typical hot-rod or pro-touring setups. Powertrain is a 283 Small Block Chevy custom built with a stock forged crank, forged rods, and power-pack pistons. 64cc aluminum heads and full-roller valvetrain used. .477/.480 lift Comp cam, Comp XR full roller low profile rocker arms. Top notch build. Topped off with Corvette cast aluminum valve covers, Offenhauser 360 vintage intake, and Holley 600 4 barrel carburetor. Small cap distributor with electronic Pertronix conversion coupled with MSD 6AL box and HP coil. Corvette ignition top shield and plug wire routing leave a very clean look. Ceramic coated mid-length headers exit into custom dual side-exit exhaust through Magnaflow stainless mufflers. Transmission is performance build TH700R4 overdrive automatic with Lokar floor shift. Custom length drive shaft from FastShafts goes into GM 10 Bolt posi differential. Vintage Air Surefit climate control system was installed for ice-cold air conditioning and warm heat. Cooling system is Cold Case aluminum radiator paired with electric cooling fan. Truck has power disc brakes, power steering, and air conditioning! All new gauges installed with retro look and modern function, custom installed LED lighting indicators for modern turn signals and a modern tilt column installed with a GM comfort-grip steering wheel. Truck has both a standard horn as well as auxiliary ooogah horn controlled with momentary switch. Vintage Stewart Warner Stage III tachometer mounted on dash. Radio is Custom Autosound AM/FM with Bluetooth input. Custom installed 5.25” speakers in kick panels as well as 6x9 speakers in cab corners. Two powered subwoofers are mounted under the seats for an incredible full-range sound system. Custom mounted TMI sport bucket seats with console. Seats are black with red stitching to match red pinstripe, wheels, and dash accent. Driving position is comfortable and snug. I am 6’0” and 240lb and comfortably enjoy driving it. Exterior is original patina mixed with re-creation of the original in some areas. Extremely well done and entire body is coated in a satin finish clear coat for durability and longevity as well as ease of wash and cleaning. Bed floor is vintage enameled lumber yard sign cut to fit. Gas fill door is in the bed with pop-up closure. Tank is under bed aluminum unit. Drive this truck all day every day anywhere you want.
