Description: This listing is for a vintage WINKY ROBOT, made by Yonezawa, Japan, in the 1950s. This rare and unusual robot is an original, NOT a repro. It measures 9.5 inches tall and is made of tin with a wind up motor. There is a built-in key on the side and an ON/OFF switch in front. The robot is in very good condition overall. There is moderate surface wear and some bubbling to the chrome on the chest, but the robot is still very presentable and works great-- walks forward with a moving chest meter and sparking mouth.The ON/OFF switch, chest meter, and spark still work, though the sparking is random. See the video the the robot in action. Rare to find in any condition.
