Description: This 1950s Westmoreland ZODIAC Beaded Edge Milk Glass Torte Plate Platter features an elegant design with a beaded edge making it a stylish piece of decorative glassware. The plate is crafted from milk glass by Westmoreland, known for producing high-quality glass items. The astrology-inspired Zodiac motifs add unique and whimsical details which are embossed on the back. I do want to mention there are some areas of roughness on the inside rim on the front, not the beaded edge which appears to be flawless, but a small rim that runs around the platter just inside the beads. One can't even visualize them but rather have to run your fingernail around it to find them, and it's on the opposite side of the zodiac signs which will probably be the side displayed anyway. This will look adorable glowing under a blacklight as well. Smoke-free home. NOTE: I tried to take photos in different lighting situations. The face of the platter is in excellent condition with just a few minor scuffs from years of storage/use, but it really is in very good condition other than the small chips around the inside lip as mentioned. It measures 14.5" in diameter.
