1950s Vintage Ideal 17" Honeybunch Doll Flirty Eyes w/Blue Dress & Apron

Description: For sale is a vintage 17" Honeybunch doll made by Ideal. I believe this is from the 1950's. She has rooted brown hair and sleepy/flirty eyes with eyelashes. The eyes close when she lays down and open when stood up, and they also move side-to-side as she is moved around. Body is made of a semi-soft rubber feeling material; body and limbs are one piece. Head feels like a similar material. The body, limbs, and head all have slight give when pressed or squeezed. She has a nice weigh to her, weighing 1 and 1/2 pounds. She is wearing a blue dress with attached pinafore/apron; I'm unsure if the dress is original or not, but it does fit her pretty well. Also wearing white underpants which are a bit too big. The doll is marked "Ideal Doll VP-17-2" on the back of her neck and "Ideal Doll P17" on her back. Bottom of shoes are marked "Fairyland Toy Prod" and "New York Doll Shoe Co". Vintage and pre-owned. Still looks pretty nice for the age, recently came out of an adult owned collection. Her limbs, body, and head all have a slightly tacky feel, likely from the type of rubber material she is made of. Eyes usually work as they should, occasionally one will need a light tap to open or close. Apron on the dress has an area on the front where the lace trim is not attached to the main apron area. Hair is slightly messed and flat from laying down and two of her curls are held in place on the top of her head with bobby pins. Comes from a smokefree environment.
