Description: DESCRIPTION: Original vintage photograph. Identification of the photos is taken from notations on the back, captions in a photo album, or from similar images in the same collection. From the photographic portfolio of Mr. Frederic C. Thomas of Easton, Maryland, who was the owner of one of Maryland's oldest homes, Troth's Fortune. Mr. Thomas died in 1967 at the age of 66. He married Roberta G. Roelker in 1925 and served in WWII, and became an architect. He purchased the historic Quaker built Troth's Fortune estate in 1947 and became a farmer, raising livestock and grain. He was a proud amateur photographer. At the time of his death he left his wife, two children, Frederic C. Thomas, Jr., and daughter Patrina, and 2 grandchildren. We have included his obituary as an image in this listing.
