This slip was worn under a wedding gown in 1957 (see other listing for gown). It’s made of 2 layers of what appears to be cotton chintz. The underlayer has 3 metal hoops; the top layer has 2 ruffled tiers with horsehair braid along the hems for even more volume. It is a very full crinoline. The waist band has a small hook and eye closure that could be moved anywhere along the 25” waistband. (Meaning it could fit a waist 25” or smaller or you could add fabric to extend the waistband). Length is 35” from waist to hem.
