The panels are Golden and on the front panel is etched a Leaping Gazelle Marked on the bottom, "Elgin American / Made in U.S.A. / Pat. 2100999." Begin to remove the lipstick from the cover and a little lid pops up that shows a tiny mirror ! The lipstick is raised by a button and the chamber is empty, never used. . It is marked Elgin American, Made in U.S.A., PAT. 2100999 on the Bottom The patent was filed in November of 1937 for the inventor E C Anderson. It measures approx. 2 1/4" long x 3/4" square.
