Description: 1948BOONE COLA "A BOON TO HEALTH"Spencer, North Carolina Vintage Daniel Boone 1940's Soda Bottle from Spencer, NC.The front graphic on the bottle shows Daniel Boone Sitting holding a gun.The wording states Daniel Boone Cola A Boon to Your Health.It was bottled by Boone Rock Bottling Co of Spencer, NC. On the bottom are some numbers including a 46 which I believe is the year. About 8" tall and it holds 7 ounces of cola. I rinsed it out with water to clean. Background for your reference. M. L. Kiser began bottling soft drinks under Spencer Carbonating Co. in 1907, followed by Orange Crush Bottling, Pepsi-Cola, and finally Boone Rock Bottling Co. 1929-1954, which gave us Boone Cola.Condition - pre-owned, was really used. Has age and use wear including along bottom rim and a few places color has rubbed off such as the "O" on front Boone. *** Important - Tiny flea bite on back center where you see my finger on the photo. White color Boone illustrations look good. Light soiling inside if I could not get it to rinse out. Overall, I think condition is good for age. Please view photos to be sure you are ok with all.
