Description: All original 1948 Oldsmobile Hood Ornament Plane with Blue Lucite Wings. Part number BLC 554757. Has not been modified, cleaned or embellished in any way except to expose the part number. That was accomplished with a moist paper towel. The chrome body is remarkable with a generally smooth surface. There is some very light defect with a few pits across it but for its age it is quite good. The blue lucite wings are good with a crack on the left inner part of wing but is soundly attached and not in real jeopardy of breakage. Other than that the lucite is clear through and through. A nice specimen in a rare color. Will entertain reasonable offers.
