Description: This is a September 1948 calendar page advertising Thompson Products with beautiful graphics by Charles H. Hubbell, depicting a Liberty-motored DH-4 being used as an observation plane in WWI under attack by German Fokkers. The American plane was piloted by Lt. E.R. Moore and Lt. Gardiner Allen was the photographer. Both men later received the Distinguished Service Cross for their parts in the mission. The calendar page measures 25" X 16 1/2". There is additional information on the calendar page and on a card clipped from the back of the calendar. This item is in good condition for its age.
