Authorized by the law of December 20, 1945, it is from the second issue under that law. The note pictures "Gualberto Villarroel López" the then President of Bolivia. He came to power on December 20, 1943 during World War II by overthrowing the previous government in a coup d'état. He led a repressive government and was called "The Mussolini of the Andes". On July 21, 1946 he suffered the same fate as Mussolini had in 1943. He was shot dead and then hung from a lamp post.
