Army 1944 issue, (first issued 1/28/1944 until 1/29/1947), Army Port of Embarkation patch, (~3-1/4" high by 3" wide) 100% embroidered on tan uniform cloth, with early white thread backing, and standard cut edge and no plastic backing, in brand new (never issued) direct from government contractor condition. What you see is what you get.This patch was made on a government contract in early 1944, and acquired from N.S. Meyer Inc. (New York) (one of the country’s leading high quality insignia manufactures during WWII) in the mid 1950's. What you see is what you get.
