Description: Up for sale is a beautiful looking, circulated 1944 Canada 5 Cents Coin.During World War 2 there was a great need for nickel as a war material. The Royal Canadian Mint stop using nickel to produce Canada 5 Cents Coins. The Mint instead used chrome and nickel plated steel to produce the 5 cents coins. The 1944 Canada 5 cents coins were given a 12 sided shape and the beaver design was replaced with a flaming torch and a large V to stand for 5 cents and for victory. The usual rim beads were replaced by a Morse code messages of dots and dashes reading "We win when we work willingly"There are some scratches on the coin. Also there are some areas where the chrome has worn off the coin. Please look at the pictures.I will leave the grading up to you.
