Description: This Vintage Fabric Hanging Baby Swing is a super find. It definitely is something to have as a display only item. It has straps attached to the seat and threaded through a bar to help adjust the way the swing would be. The straps are wrapped around the frame and attached with a rivet, the front right strap is loose, missing the rivet, which could be replaced if desired to show the way it would have looked, back in the day. It has a few painted wooden beads across a bar in the front which is above the fabric tray that could have been used to hold toys or maybe even treats for the baby. It does have a backrest on the swing, to help keep the infant sitting straight. The back section will fold down over the swing and pretty much be flat for storage or travel. It is a canvas type of fabric that has been stretched over the frame, trouble is, it is quite old so I wouldn't trust the fabric with anything over 1 or 2 pounds. Perfect to place a stuffed animal or doll in to show how it works! I have looked for a brand name or something to let me know who made it, but it has long since faded from the item. There is rust on the frame which has stained the swing in places. Also the right front corner of the swing has some tears from use or storage. Measurements: swing - 13" x 12"; backrest - 11.5" x 12.5".
