Description: Very heavy coffee mug from The Krystal Hamburgers chain. For those of you that collect vintage hamburger china mugs, you will recognize that the version of the mug listed here for bidding is much rarer than the usual Krystal mugs you will see on eBay. In particular note in the building window the words Hamburger 5 cents. Note the building configuration (which is different than other Krystal mugs), and the bottom color Indian stamp. This color Indian backstamp was used by Shenango China from the 1930’s to 1948. The bottom stamp also says Furnished by Shenango China, Mountain City Stove Co. Chattanooga Tenn. This is Quite A Rare and Older Hamburger Mug. Krystal Hamburgers was just like White Castle, White Tower, Royal Castle, Rockybilt, and other 5 cent hamburger diners. The mug has wear from usage, but No Chips, No Cracks, and No Hairlines. A Great addition to any hamburger restaurant ware china mug collection.
